Sightsavers has trained 46 health workers on basic sign language to promote inclusion in health facilities in Kaduna.
Hadiza Halid, project coordinator of ACReSAL, said the sensitisation was part of the activities under the Resettlement Action Plan for the project.
The commissioner also promised that the water supply would be further boosted when the Makera Water Treatment Plant is rehabilitated.
He said the data showed strong uptake that exceeded initial projections.

He said the project, when completed, would boost water supply and provide thousands of households in Tudun Wada.
