A Tunisian lawmaker, Ahmed Saidani, has been sentenced to eight months in prison for mocking President Kais Saied in a social media post.
The judge also accused Mr Chouchane of inciting the public against the president and attempting to overthrow the government.
Mr Mba said that several strategies had been put in place by the chamber to make participants have meaningful outcomes.
A total of 45 people, including three children, were said to have been on the metal boat.
Mr Saied vowed to move forward with the purification of the judiciary.
