Mr Disu assured the victim’s family that the tragic incident would not be treated lightly.
Mr Disu recalled his close working relationship with journalists covering the Lagos State government.
According to him, patrols have been reinforced along major highways and strategic locations.
A minute silence was observed in honour of the victims of the attacks.
The IGP assured that the welfare of police officers would remain a priority under his leadership.
