The meeting followed a letter to INEC by the PDP inviting the commission to its 100th NEC meeting scheduled for June 30.
Mr Damagum said NEC received the resolution of the South-East General Executive regarding the national secretary position.
Mr Damagum said, “We are moving to Legacy House for our NEC meeting.”
“PDP is the only party where you can feel peaceful; you can express your opinion,” Mr Damagum said.
“We have instructed the zonal caretaker committee to take charge of Delta after dissolving all existing structures, as most of their members have defected,” Mr Damagum stated.
The ongoing NWC meeting is chaired by the party’s National Chairman, Umar Damagum.
He condemned those aggravating internal differences within the party.
The coalition made the pledge in a statement on Monday by its spokesperson, Ikenga Ugochinyere (PDP-Imo).
Justice Peter Lifu ordered both arms to only recognise Mr Damagum until the party’s national convention in December 2025.
The crisis rocking Peoples Democratic has worsened with the emergence of two factions of the party’s National Working Committee.
