Mr Badaru stated this when Mr Amaechi, the immediate past Minister of Transport, met with delegates from the state in Dutse on Wednesday.

Being 56 years old, the youngest among the APC presidential aspirants and the most experienced…, Mr Amaechi said he would be the right candidate.
Mr Osinbajo said that there is no justification for extra-judicial killing as there are legal channels of addressing any misdeed.
“Our future depends on strengthening Africa’s capacity to finance our own growth. Yet Africa’s financing needs are growing and will only get bigger as our population expands.”
Regarding the event, which had since been held on Sunday, Mr Olawande said of the APC chieftain, “That’s a young man raised in this church.
“I can’t believe that somebody in today’s Nigeria, somebody will say I want to continue where Mr Buhari stopped.”
The former Lagos governor said his “chances of winning the ticket are incredibly high” if a democratic process was followed due to his high political pedigree.
“We will ensure that the presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will come to the South-West.”
The meeting was a continuation of his consultations with party stakeholders ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
