Nigeria’s colourful 62nd Independence Day Anniversary parades was held amidst watertight security at Eagle Square, Abuja, on Saturday.
The APC chairman stressed that the 62nd anniversary of Nigeria’s independence is a period for sober reflection on the country’s journey to nationhood.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says African nations account for less than one per cent of cumulative global carbon emissions.
“We are all anxious that he succeeds and that he perhaps does even better than his mother, which is the hope of his mum,” said Mr Osinbajo.
