Mr Kalat made the donation at an event in Kafanchan, headquarters of Jema’a LGA.
The governor urged the beneficiaries to use the support to uplift their families and contribute to their communities.
Ms Vilita commended the society’s effort to reduce poverty through empowerment.
The food item was distributed to widows and some indigents, irrespective of religious inclinations, with an undisclosed cash.
Mr Adetoyi said that the FCTA would continue to empower and uplift widows to overcome the obstacles they faced.
The police said most suspects who came to wreak havoc and disrupt the mass wedding came from neighbouring states.
“Nigeria is appealing to the development partners to provide database on widows nationwide.”
The minister said that about 1,142,783 potential beneficiaries were registered across the 774 LGAs, with 19,155 potential beneficiaries registered in Ondo State.
