Taraba courts to go on Christmas break from December 24 to January 2

Justice Joel Agya, chief judge of Taraba, on Tuesday notified the high courts of the 2025 Christmas vacation from December 24, 2025, to January 2, 2026.

Justice Joel Agya, chief judge of Taraba, on Tuesday notified the high courts of the 2025 Christmas vacation from December 24, 2025, to January 2, 2026.

Mr Agya, in a statement in Jalingo, said that the notice was in line with the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2011.

“Whereas it is provided under Order 8 Rule 4 (C) of the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2011 that the civil matters shall be held on every workday, except during the period beginning on Christmas Eve and ending on January 2.

“Now, therefore, it is hereby notified for general information that there shall be a Christmas vacation of the high courts across the state,” he said.
