Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce to hold pre-wedding dinner in New York ahead of Friday ceremony

American singer Taylor Swift and her fiancé, NFL star Travis Kelce, are set to begin their wedding celebrations with a pre-wedding dinner at the Infosys Theatre inside Madison Square Garden in New York on Thursday evening.
The exclusive event is expected to host about 100 guests inside the 5,000-seat venue.
Preparations are currently underway, with security personnel, decorations, and production equipment spotted outside the arena.
The main ceremony is scheduled for Friday at Madison Square Garden, with about 1000 guests expected to attend.
Event organisers have secured city permits to close several streets around the venue from Thursday to Saturday to comply with regulations on large gatherings.
Guests’ arrival and check-in begin at 3:30 p.m., before the cocktail hour at 4:00 p.m., with the main ceremony commencing at 5:30 p.m. and concluding at 2:00 a.m.
The union is expected to be one of the biggest celebrity events, attracting A-list celebrities, athletes, and performers.
Among the expected guests are players from the Kansas City Chiefs, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Zoe Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, Tim McGraw, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, and Gigi Hadid.
Authorities have also assessed the event as a major security operation because of the large number of attendees.
The New York City Police Commissioner, Jessica Tisch, stated that the NYPD is actively deploying “appropriate resources” to ensure public safety and privacy during the event.
