The Transmission Company of Nigeria says electricity supply to Ijebu-Ode and its environs in Ogun will be disrupted for three hours on Friday.

In a statement on Friday, TCN said the disruption was due to scheduled annual preventive maintenance on the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode 132kV transmission line.

The company said the maintenance would take place between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

“During the period, IBEDC will not be able to off-take electricity to its customers in Ijebu-Ode and its environs,” TCN said.

The company apologised to electricity consumers in the affected areas for the inconvenience caused by the maintenance.
