Information minister Mohammed Idris says the frantic efforts of President Bola Tinubu are gradually addressing brain drain and other health challenges facing Nigerians.

Mr Idris stated this at the fourth attestation ceremony of the 2025 MBBS class of the Nile University of Nigeria on Friday in Abuja.

He said the student would certainly contribute to the medical profession and effective healthcare services that Mr Tinubu had been craving to improve in the country.

He noted that Mr Tinubu’s efforts are helping to address illnesses like cancer and others that usually send Nigerians to other countries, adding that such treatments are available and affordable in Nigeria today.

“These are all efforts at ensuring that Nigerian healthcare indeed is world-class, and this is the beginning of what we see of these professionals going to that sector to improve the services,” said Mr Idris.
