President Bola Tinubu on Monday met with former defence chief Christopher Musa at the State House, Abuja.

‎The visit was Mr Musa’s first public appearance at the Villa since his retirement by Mr Tinubu on October 24.

‎The details of their closed-door engagement were not disclosed.

‎Mr Musa served as the chief of defence staff from June 23, 2023, until his retirement in October.

‎The meeting took place as the nation grapples with heightened insecurity, following the president’s recent declaration of a national security emergency.
