Tinubu group sponsors 300 students for NBAIS exams in Katsina

A political support group, Tinubu/Dikko Assured 2027, has paid the final examination fees for the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies for 300 students of the Arabic Teachers College, Katsina.
Speaking at the event in Katsina, education commissioner Yusuf Suleiman-Jibia, said the gesture was a welcome development.
Mr Suleiman-Jibia said the intervention would go a long way toward supporting students, particularly those from less privileged backgrounds, in completing their education.
Mr Suleiman-Jibia described education as a critical sector that required collective efforts from the government and well-meaning individuals to achieve sustainable development.
He urged other organisations and stakeholders to emulate the initiative in order to improve access to education in the state.
TDA’s director-general, Umar Ahmad-Zayyad, said that the gesture was part of the group’s commitment to supporting education and community development.
Mr Ahmad-Zayyad said that the group recognised the importance of education in shaping society’s future and would continue to invest in initiatives that uplift young people.
The chairman of Katsina LGA, Isah Miqdad, lauded the group for complementing the government’s efforts in both education and infrastructure.
He said that the intervention would ease the financial burden on parents and guardians while encouraging students to focus on their studies.
