Tinubu hails NiDCOM executive Abike Dabiri-Erewa on her birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chair of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, on her birthday.
‎In a statement on Saturday, Mr Tinubu praised her contributions to Nigeria’s global image and diaspora engagement.
‎He described her as a dedicated public servant who began her career in broadcasting with the Nigerian Television Authority, and later served three terms in the House of Representatives.
Ms ‎Dabiri-Erewa chaired both the House Committee on Media and Publicity and the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs, where she led key national conversations.
‎The president commended her lifelong dedication to public service, noting her commitment to uplifting the underprivileged and promoting national unity.
‎Mr Tinubu highlighted her impact as a journalist, legislator, and NIDCOM chief, citing her tireless pursuit of social justice for Nigerians at home and abroad.
‎He praised her efforts in mobilising diaspora talent to support national growth, especially in education, healthcare, and sports.
‎The president said her numerous awards and recognitions were a testament to her excellence, vision, and patriotism.
