Tinubu seeks Senate confirmation for South-West, South-South, North-Central commissions appointees

President Bola Tinubu has sought the Senate’s confirmation for appointees for the South-West, North-Central, and South-South Development Commissions.
In a letter sent to Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Thursday, Mr Tinubu listed the appointees as 19 persons for the North-Central Development Commission, with Cosmas Akiyir as chairman and Cyril Yeltsin as managing director.
According to the letter, the South-West Development Commission has 18 appointees, including Olubunmi Adetunbi and Charles Akinola as chairman and managing director.
The South-South Development Commission has 18 persons as appointees, Chibudom Nwuche as chairman and Usoro Offiong Akpabio as managing director.
