Tinubu’s re-election guaranteed, says Lagos lawmaker

A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Epe Constituency I, Abiodun Tobun, says President Bola Tinubu’s second-term victory is guaranteed.
Mr Tobun said this during an interview on Tuesday in Lagos, attributing his optimism to the administration’s performance and achievements.
He said Nigeria had witnessed tremendous infrastructural development and economic reforms under the administration.
He stated, “Tinubu is a gift to Nigeria, because of his economic reform policies and infrastructural development initiatives.”
The lawmaker said the administration’s economic reforms, infrastructure projects and efforts to address national challenges had demonstrated its commitment to national development.
According to him, the President’s performance will remain a major consideration in discussions about his second-term ambition.
He said the government’s initiatives in agriculture, support for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs), education and infrastructure were important areas for assessing its performance.
Mr Tobun noted that the sectors remained critical to economic growth, job creation and improved living standards.
“Tinubu deserves another term to consolidate his policies and programmes. I am so confident that this administration’s achievements will strengthen public support for his re-election bid,” he said.
Mr Tobun said the President’s reform agenda was intended to reposition the economy and create opportunities for businesses.
“Sustained implementation of government policies is essential to achieving the desired development outcomes,” he said.
He applauded the Tinubu-led administration in the areas of security and economic stability, describing them as integral to evaluating its performance.
“The effectiveness of government policies should ultimately be reflected in the welfare and living conditions of Nigerians,” he said.
Mr Tobun reiterated his support for Mr Tinubu’s re-election, expressing optimism that the President’s record would continue to feature prominently in political discourse ahead of the next presidential election.
He urged voters to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for continuity.
He added, “Epe is in safe hands with all APC candidates and we will continue to give back to the constituents. As a lawmaker, I have served my people diligently and I will continue to facilitate socio-economic development in the constituency.
“I will ensure that the good people of Epe Constituency I continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy and good governance.”
