Mr Alausa said that registration for the NCEE would commence on January 26 and close on May 24.
The protesting students insisted that no lecture or examination would take place until the management addressed what they described as years of neglect and exploitation.
Mr Makinde said the intervention would include accommodation for students and lecturers, an IT centre, a healthcare centre, and buses to ease mobility.
He said that LASU must remain a centre of knowledge creation.
He noted that the institution is interested in building students into whole individuals.
He said the initiative was aimed at repositioning education to meet contemporary needs.
Mr Smith said Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had directed the immediate relocation of students to nearby schools to prevent disruption of academic activities.
