Mr Aliyu said the operation led to the seizure of 22 pieces of elephant tusks weighing 130.84 kilogrammes and one vehicle allegedly used in the trafficking activity.
The commissioner said the operation forms part of renewed efforts to strengthen security and improve vehicle identification across the state.
According to the police, all the victims are currently under protective custody.
The party expressed concern over the conduct of some LASTMA personnel.
They said the intervention would stimulate economic growth, promote enterprise development and strengthen the state’s economy.
Ginger is widely used in Nigerian homes for cooking, beverages, and traditional remedies.
The monarch said the Iru community would continue supporting maritime development and the blue economy.
He urged motorists to obey traffic signs and follow directives from traffic officials.
