The government asserted that those who continue to dump refuse indiscriminately “don’t mean well for the people of Kano.”
The victims were recruited from Oyo, Osun, Kogi, Ondo, Ekiti, Lagos and Ogun states.
The Kano governor added that “Asiwaju is a man of integrity and a good product.”
The exercise will begin in October and Kano is piloting the initiative in all the 44 local government areas of the state.
