“At this critical juncture in Kwara’s political evolution, we firmly believe leadership must be entrusted to an individual with proven integrity,” he said.
He said the decision was driven by a commitment to deliver impactful representation.
He said it comprised cash donations and pledges from supporters across the state.
“He can’t fight Atiku or Amaechi for the ticket of ADC,” he said.
He said his seven-point agenda would be implemented to the letter.
According to him, Mr Obi is currently engaged in extensive consultations with key stakeholders and political allies.
“We remain focused on our mission to rescue Nigeria from the failure of the APC-led government,” he said.
He said that his decision to run was driven by pressure from stakeholders, including PDP leaders.
He said the claim that a particular candidate has been endorsed was a distraction.
According to him, governance must translate into tangible benefits for the citizens.
