The group said Mr Adeleke’s achievements and personal qualities helped him win the keenly contested election.
Yiaga Africa said the Osun election demonstrated that INEC could meet a high operational standard, apply the Electoral Act 2026 and transmit results transparently.
He urged the governor to unite the people of the state and mobilise them for growth, stability and socio-economic progress, irrespective of their political choices.
“An election cannot be said to have been concluded without exploring all constitutionally allowed legal opportunities to correct anomalies,” the APC said.
Mr Adeleke observed a minute’s silence for victims of the pre-election violence and urged community leaders and traditional institutions to embark on peace-building initiatives.
The chairman highly commended INEC, security agencies and civil society groups.
INEC declared Mr Adeleke the winner after he defeated his closest rival, Bola Oyebamiji of the APC, and 13 other contestants.
