Mr Monye accused the NDC of fraudulently substituting him with a defector from the APC for the Delta State House of Assembly ticket.
“The difference is clear between men and women, but that difference should never be interpreted to mean that women are less,” the cleric said.
“What if a candidate is a Christian or Muslim but unable to deliver? What we need is someone who can move this country forward,” he said.
Mr Matawalle urged opposition politicians to refrain from actions that could incite Nigerians against Tinubu’s government.
The group says its objective is to ensure that public discourse on the Tinubu administration is guided by verifiable facts rather than misinformation.
He said Mr Hamzat possessed the competence, experience and leadership qualities required to sustain the state’s development strides.
Mr Otti added, “As a governor and as an individual, he can’t speak for every governor.”
Mr Turaki said that despite current leadership and legal hurdles, the PDP possessed the internal strength to navigate its trials.
The chairman said that security agencies had been duly notified of the development.
The group said the platform is expected to strengthen election transparency, curb manipulation and restore public confidence in Nigeria’s elections.
