According to Mr Abdullahi, out of 3,019 cases received, 2,276 have been completed, while 743 are still ongoing.
The SSS lawyer, Akinlolu Kehinde, informed Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court, Abuja Division, shortly after the case was called for commencement of trial.
The protesting students insisted that no lecture or examination would take place until the management addressed what they described as years of neglect and exploitation.

The police command in Abuja has insisted that bail is free and called on the public to report any officer who asks for money to release a suspect on bail.
Police spokesman Bashir Usman said in a statement on Friday that the killing happened on Monday at about 6:30 a.m.
