Tottenham beat 10-man Crystal Palace 2-0 to secure third consecutive Premier League win

Tottenham moved to ninth place on the Premier League table after a 2-0 win over 10-man Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening.
The result means that after failing to win any of their first six Premier League matches this season, the North London club has now secured three consecutive victories.
Crystal Palace were down to 10 men 13 minutes into the match after Jean-Philippe Mateta was sent off for a serious foul on Mickey van de Ven.
The hosts quickly capitalised on the numerical advantage to control the match, with an unmarked Archie Grey giving Tottenham the lead in the 25th minute after heading home a corner kick by Mohammed Kudus.
Despite creating several attacking chances, Tottenham were unable to extend their lead until the 73rd minute, when Jan Paul van Hecke headed home after the ball rebounded off the crossbar to seal all three points for his side.
