Trabzonspor unveil Salah at Papara Park

Salah’s unveiling followed his successful medical at Acibadem Maslak hospital, the club’s medical partner, ahead of the official completion of his transfer.

Turkish club Trabzonspor on Thursday unveiled Egypt and former Liverpool of England star Mohamed Salah at Papara Park stadium to a crowd of about 25,000 supporters gathered to welcome him.

Speaking at his unveiling, a delighted Salah said he was happy to be at the club and praised the unique atmosphere and passionate fans.

He said, “I honestly can’t even remember if I’ve seen something like this before. I’m very happy to be here. There are like 25,000 fans here to welcome me. It’s unbelievable.”

Salah’s unveiling followed his successful medical at Acibadem Maslak hospital, the club’s medical partner, ahead of the official completion of his transfer.

The club confirmed his signing on Wednesday on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Liverpool.

Salah is said to have signed a two-year deal with the Turkish club, worth a €17 million annual salary, including additional incentives and benefits.
