This is contained in a statement by the acting diirector, Defence Information, Brig.-Gen. Tukur Gusau, on Wednesday in Abuja.

The CDS said the armed forces will continue to partner with traditional institutions to achieve its mandates.

Mr Musa assured the traditional ruler of the military‘s readiness to protect the nation’s territorial integrity in all fronts and to ensure peace and stability in Nigeria.

He appreciated the royal father for the visit, assuring that the military was willing to address all forms of insecurity in the country.

In his remarks, the Dein of Agbor thanked the military for their dedication and great services to the nation and beyond.

He commended the sacrifices by members of the armed forces while thanking the CDS for accepting the apology tendered by the people of Okouma over the killing of military personnel in an unfortunate attack that occurred in March 2024.
