Trump posts AI video depicting Barack, Michelle Obama as monkeys
President Donald Trump on Friday posted an AI-generated video depicting ex-President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, as monkeys.
The video was posted on Truth Social.
In a scene from the AI-generated video, the smiling faces of the former U.S. first couple have bodies made of monkey.
Mrs Obama had her head imposed on a black monkey’s body, while Mr Obama had his head imposed on a brown monkey’s body.
The video posted by Mr Trump has sparked reactions on social media.
“Disgusting behaviour by the President. Every single Republican must denounce this. Now,” Governor Gavin Newsom of California wrote, reacting to the video in a post on X.
Harry Sisson, in a post, said, “Trump posted a video depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys. Incredibly racist and disgusting. Beneath the office of the presidency, like everything he does. Every American must condemn this.”
Mr Trump had previously posted an AI-generated video depicting Mr Obama being arrested in the Oval Office and jailed.
