Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey set to sell first ever tweet as NFT

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has minted the first tweet ever posted on the social media platform on Ethereum-run service, Cent.
Cent is a service built on the Ethereum blockchain that allows users to mint, sell and bid on non-fungible tokens (NFTs) of tweets.
Published by Mr. Dorsey on March 21, 2006, the first tweet reads “just setting up my twttr.”
Though the original tweet has been a free digital item to look at for about 15 years, the Twitter CEO is now trying to sell it as an NFT, or “non-fungible token.”
The tweet has already received a bid for $88,888.88 by a user called “@Crypto888crypto.”
Sale of Non Fungible Tokens allow users to buy and sell ownership of unique digital items and keep track of who owns them using the blockchain.
Tokens can technically contain anything digital, including drawings, animated GIFs, songs, or items in video games. However the blockchain keeps track of who has ownership of the file.
