Two killed in Kaltungo-Cham road crash

The Gombe State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed on Saturday the deaths of two people in an auto crash on the Kaltungo-Cham road.
The sector commander, Samson Kaura, told journalists in Gombe that seven people, two women and five men, were involved in the crash.
According to him, two women died, and their bodies are at Kaltungo General Hospital Mortuary.
He said others were taken to hospital for treatment.
MR Kaura blamed wrongful overtaking for the crash, urging drivers to exercise caution.
“Before overtaking, consider its necessity, legality, and safety. A poor decision can prove fatal,” he said.
MR Kaura advised passengers to inspect vehicles and drivers before boarding.
“Passengers should not rush and must check the vehicle’s condition and driver’s state, including potential intoxication,” he added.
