Two men in court over alleged N8 million land fraud

The police on Wednesday charged two men Qozeem Ishola, 42, and Hammed Aliyu, 35, before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, Oyo State, over alleged fraud.
The duo, whose addresses were not stated are standing trial on charges bordering on conspiracy, obtaining money under false pretence and stealing .
They both, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The prosecutor, ASP Olufemi Olanibi, alleged that the defendants committed the offences between December 2025 and February, at Apara junction near Ajia, Ibadan.

The Magistrate, Adebola Adeola granted the defendants bail in the sum of five million naira each with two sureties each in like sum.
