U.S.-based Nigerian rapper MsJorji stirs fresh accusation as social media trends Poco Lee’s arrest in UK over alleged rape

U.S.-based Nigerian musician MsJorji has fresh allegation against Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Pascal Odinala, popularly known as Poco Lee, accusing the dancer of assaulting her and a friend during a meeting at his apartment in Dallas, Texas, United States of America, in 2024.
The ‘Wata’ crooner narrated her encounter with the entertainer via her Instagram handle, following an rumoured arrest of the entertainer over alleged sexual assault offence in the United Kingdom.
MsJorji accused Poco Lee of assaulting her and a female friend at his residence in Dallas.
According to the musician, Poco Lee and her friend were schoolmates in Nigeria and suggested they visit him, as she was seeking professional guidance as she marched on in the industry
“In Dallas, Texas, two years ago. My girlfriend and I went to go meet him in Dallas. This is when I first started rapping, and I was trying to meet people in the industry.
“My girlfriend tells me he’s in Dallas; he invites us into his apartment. I’m so excited. Mind you, this is when I was married. So we get there; he went to school with my girlfriend in Nigeria, so they know each other; they’re familiar. We get there.
“So, and he sees my wedding ring; I’m wearing it. I tell him I’m married. Now, we play him a song; I’m trying to get advice from him of how to enter the industry,” the singer said.
MsJorji said she had to “slap his hand off” to remind him that she was married as he alleged molested her, adding “this guy is too famous for him to try no dumb shit like this.”
The musician said that he also went on to assault her friend after the dancer tried to pull her into a room; they both ended up “beating and shoving him into the corner of the room,” and ended up driving back to their destinations.
MsJorji said that she was not surprised by the news, noting that most professionals in the industry were fond of sexual misconduct, calling them “predators.”
The singer added that they couldn’t report the case to authorities due to insufficient evidence.
“A lot of these industry men are predators. It don’t matter how much they have. And I’m telling this story now because at the time, we couldn’t go to the police because, well, we didn’t have enough to go to the police. We didn’t report him off, so there was no assault. It was attempted,” she said.
In a separate clip, MsJorji said that the dancer was “not the first predator” she had met in the industry and added that his not the last.
She added that about two years ago during a Shallipopi and Seyi Vibez show, she confronted him and put him in a “headlock,” warning him never to repeat the alleged behaviour.
MsJorji that she wished she had the courage to tell her story, adding that “maybe it would have saved the girl right now that is traumatised.”
Meanwhile, social media is awash over the alleged ordeal of the dancer in the UK.
