U.S. govt offers up to $50,000 for information on violent crimes, drug trafficking
The U.S. authorities have offered up to $50,000 reward for tips and useful information on violent crimes, illegal firearms and drug trafficking.
In a statement on Friday, U.S. Marshals Services, an agency of the Department of Justice, said it was rewarding those who provide information leading to the arrest and prosecution of criminals.
“Help make Washington, D.C., safer. The D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force is offering cash rewards for tips on violent crime, gangs, illegal firearms, and drug trafficking. Qualifying tips may receive up to $50,000,” the statement said.
On its website, the agency urged the public for information regarding “wanted fugitives, registered sex offender, potential threats against the federal judiciary or court facilities and any alleged Criminal Activity within Washington D.C.”
The agency is offering tips ranging from $2500, $10,000 to $50,000 to anyone who comes towards with accurate and useful information.
