U.S. to speak on world reforms at UNGA

The United States (U.S) said it recognises the importance of the UN and will deliver a message urging for a reform of the world body
U.S. Deputy Ambassador to the UN nominee Tammy Bruce said on Tuesday.
“We recognise the importance of the UN, the importance of the world working together, but it must be functional and efficient; it must reach the people who really need it; it must be rapid. So it’s because we care; it is why you’re going to hear messages about reform restoration, things that will take us into the future,” Mr Bruce told reporters.
Mr Trump will speak to everything of importance for Washington, Mr Bruce said, further noting that the president had allegedly made a difference in the world.
The 80th anniversary session of the UNGA opened on September 9, but the general debates will begin from September 23 to 27 and on September 29.
Russia would be represented by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
