Udi stakeholders beg Ugwuanyi for Enugu West senatorial ticket
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s stakeholders in Udi local government area have appealed to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to zone the Enugu West senatorial district ticket to the area.
The stakeholders stated this on Tuesday when they paid Mr Ugwuanyi a solidarity visit.
Representing the people of Udi, the council chairman, Philip Okoh, told the governor that it was their turn to occupy the senatorial seat in the 10th National Assembly.
Mr Ugwuanyi expressed appreciation to the stakeholders for the enduring peace and progress witnessed in Enugu since the inception of his administration.
The governor urged them to remain committed in prayers for God to continue to direct the affairs of the state, adding that the positive results Enugu is witnessing in terms of peace, security and good governance is because his administration entrusted Enugu to God’s hands.

“Let’s put it in prayers and entrust it to the hands of God. I thank all the Udi stakeholders because of their support since I assumed office. I also thank all the stakeholders of Enugu State for accepting for peace to reign in the state and l will not take it for granted,” said the Enugu governor.
