Ukraine, Germany plan to produce 1,500-km range drones

German defence minister Boris Pistorius said that Germany and Ukraine plan to jointly produce drones with a strike range of up to 1,500 kilometres, local media reported.
Mr Pistorius made this known at a news conference after talks with Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
He said, “Berlin supports the creation of joint ventures between German and Ukrainian companies.
“This, of course, applies in particular to the joint development and production of drones with various ranges from less than 100km to 1,500km.”
Mr Pistorius arrived in Kyiv on Monday on an unannounced visit.
