Ukrainian drone attack sparks fire at factory in western Russia

A Ukrainian drone attack sparked a fire at a factory in the western Russian region of Kursk, the region’s governor reported on his Telegram channel.
There were no fatalities or injuries in the overnight attack, according to Alexei Smirnov.
However, a media report stated that there was one injury and that the fire in the low-voltage equipment factory had spread to about 400 square meters.
Firefighters were busy tackling the blaze in the factory halls.
Meanwhile, another person was injured in the Kursk region in a separate drone attack on the settlement of Tyotkino.
Drone attacks were also reported in Belgorod, Rostov, and Voronezh. The Russian Ministry of Defence said that 13 of these unmanned aerial vehicles had been shot down.
In Voronezh, a man reportedly sustained shrapnel injuries from broken window panes during a drone explosion. In Belgorod, there were three injuries and a partial power outage.
Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine more than two years ago and has regularly bombarded its neighbour with drones and missiles.
This is a hits front-line city like Kharkiv with guided glide bombs.
At the same time, Russian regions near the border have also reported increasing Ukrainian attacks.
However, the victims and damage on the Russian side pale in comparison to the extent of destruction wreaked by Russia.
