UTME Score: Mmesoma lied to me, father apologises to Nigerians, JAMB

Romanus Ejikeme, the father of Anambra student Mmesoma Ejikeme, who forged her Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) score to defraud the public, has apologised to Nigerians and JAMB, saying his daughter lied to him.
“My daughter didn’t open up to me on time, Mr Ejikeme told Nigerian Television Authority in an interview on Saturday.
Mr Ejikeme further said, “when I realised the mistake she did, I blamed her a lot but I’m still apologising to JAMB and Nigerians to pardon her.”
Last week, JAMB, in a statement, exposed Ms Mmesoma to have forged her JAMB results, parading herself as the best student to swindle the public.
The exam body also banned Ms Mmesoma after revealing her true score, while Innoson Automobile Company withdrew the N3 million naira scholarship awarded her following the revelation of her forged result.
