We’ll come out strong for maximum points against Wikki Tourists, says Enugu Rangers coach
Coach Abdul Maikaba of Rangers International of Enugu has assured the club supporters that his team will fight for the maximum points in match day six against Bauchi’s Wikki Tourist.
Maikaba said this on Saturday after his team’s training inside the Abubakar Tafawa Belewa Stadium, venue of the match against their hosts.
This was contained in a statement by the club Media Officer, Norbert Okolie, on Sunday morning, saying the team was highly motivated.
According to the tactician, the players are highly motivated going into the encounter with the clearance of the two match bonuses by the management.
“Hence, I believe the players will come out strongly and fight for the points at stake to appreciate the management gesture,” he said
Maikaba further said, “Actually, I will say that the morale of the players has been boosted, especially with the payment.
“The spirit is high and the performance is improving as that shows from the last three games so, I believe it is going to be a factor in the match against Wikki Tourists.
“My players will come out strongly to fight for the three points and I believe that at the end, if we get our act right, we will get the three points,” Maikaba said.
Rangers occupied seventh position on the abridged league log group B with five points while Wikki Tourists remain last with one point after five matches.
