FCT Nyesom Wike has appointed Nancy Nathan, the acting head of the Federal Capital Territory Service Administration.
The FCT minister’s spokesman, Lere Olayinka, announced this in a statement on Tuesday.
Mr Olayinka said that Ms Nathan was appointed in an acting capacity, pending the appointment of a substantive head of service.
Ms Nathan was appointed following the death of Grace Adayilo, former FCTA head of service, on September 1.
Until her appointment, Ms Nathan was the permanent secretary of the Youth Development Secretariat of the FCTA.
She served as the director of finance and administration in the office of the FCT minister before her appointment as permanent secretary.
The appointment became effective immediately.
