Wikki Tourists unveil Audu as technical adviser
WIkki Tourists Football Club of Bauchi has unveiled Mohammed Audu as the new technical adviser of the club.
The club was relegated in 2022/ 2023 from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) to the second tier.
Balarabe Doughla, chairman of Wikki Tourists, presented the technical adviser to the media at a brief ceremony on Wednesday in Bauchi.
Doughla, who said the contract would run for two years, said the management would try its best to support him to succeed.
He said the technical adviser has all the experience as a former Kwara United football club coach to deliver on the job.
“All he needs is the support and prayers of the people of the state, stakeholders, as well as the management to bring back the club to the NPFL,” Doughla said.
In a remark, Audu appreciated the management for finding him worthy to coach the team.
“We will put in our best to see that we bring back the club from the Nigerian National League (NNL) to the NPFL,” he said.
Audu solicited prayers and support from the state’s management, supporters and citizens.
