Yemi Alade releases new album ‘It’s Yemi Alade’
Nigerian Afropop singer Yemi Alade has dropped a new studio album, ‘It’s Yemi Alade’. The singer announced the release on her official Instagram handle, saying the album was now available on major digital streaming platforms.
Released on Friday, the album features collaborations with several artistes, including Spyro, Ferre Gola, Don Jazzy, Jeriq and Teni.
Some of the tracks on the album are Alhaja, General Market, Coco Na Yam (featuring Ferre Gola), Little Kiss (E Good) and Yemi Mi Lova (featuring Spyro).
The album follows Ms Alade’s previous studio project, Rebel Queen, released in 2024.
The ace singer had earlier released the single ‘Shawa Shawa’ in November 2025 ahead of the album.
Ms Alade, known for songs such as ‘Johnny’, ‘Ferrari’, and ‘Tumbum’, incorporates African languages, rhythms and cultural themes into her music.
The release of ‘It’s Yemi Alade’ adds to her catalogue, following more than a decade of her presence in the Nigerian music industry.
