Zamfara APC lauds Tinubu’s appointment of ex-AG as IST chairman

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Aminu Junaidu as Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Investments and Securities Tribunal.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Friday by the state APC Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris.
Recall that Mr Junaidu was a former Attorney-General of the state during former Governor Bello Matawalle’s administration.
The statement reads in part, “Junaidu’s appointment is a great honour to Zamfara State by President Bola Tinubu. It is another indication of the president’s confidence and believe in Zamfara State and its citizens. The state APC leadership wishes to thank Mr President for the right choice. We want to assure Nigerians that the appointee will live up to expectations.
“The party also wishes to commend its leaders at the national level especially, former governors Bello Matawalle, now Minister of State for Defence and Senator Abdulaziz Yari for their efforts in taking our dear state to greater heights of responsibly.
“On behalf of the party leadership and the entire members of the APC in Zamfara State, we wish to charge the appointee to provide good representation.”
The statement added that the party prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to guide and protect the appointee as he settles in his new responsibility.
