Zamfara APC seeks prayers for Tinubu’s administration to tackle insecurity, economic challenges

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has called for continued prayers for President Bola Tinubu’s administration to succeed in addressing insecurity and economic challenges in the country.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Saturday by the state APC publicity secretary, Yusuf Idris.
Mr Idris said that the state APC chairman, Tukur Danfulani, made the call at the monthly meeting of the party in Gusau Local Government Area.
He added that the party leadership in the state initiated the monthly meeting at the LGAs as part of its measures to bring together its members and promote unity, peace and stability in the party.
Mr Idris said, “The meeting, which began today, Saturday, was held in all the headquarters of the 14 local government areas of the state, attended by the critical stakeholders and executives of the party at the various LGAs.
“During the meetings, members of the party, therefore, were urged to continue with prayers for the success of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. In Gusau, the meeting was attended and chaired by the state APC chairman, Tukur Danfulani, while in Kaura Namoda and Birnin Magaji, LGAs; the meeting was attended by the immediate past chairman of the party, Lawal Liman. The state party secretary, Ibrahim Dangaladima, also attended the meeting in Birnin-Magaji LGA, while in Talata-Mafara, the former state secretary of the party, Sani Musa.’’
Mr Idris added that among the major issues discussed during the meeting were the challenges facing the party in the state and the way forward.
This, he said, was with the view of resolving the grievances among the party’s members with a view to promoting unity in the party.
Mr Idris said, “The meeting also appreciated the immediate past governor of the state and Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle and Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, for providing support to the party members in the state.
He said, “The party leaders also discussed the increasing threat of insecurity in the state and the North-West region. The party commended and appreciated President Bola Tinubu for the proactive measures taken by his administration in addressing insecurity and economic hardship in the country. The party leadership in the state, therefore, urged the members to continue to be law-abiding. Members of the party are therefore urged to continue with prayers for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.”
