Zamfara: Governor Lawal holds meeting with PDP stakeholders

Governor Dauda Lawal has begun a statewide strategic stakeholder engagement with the Zamfara chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party to evaluate performances.
A statement on Wednesday by his media aide, Sulaiman Idris, said the stakeholder engagement aimed to strategise and discuss issues concerning the party and the state at large.
The meeting began on Tuesday at the Rescue Hall in the Government House, Gusau, with party stakeholders from Gummi and Maru LGAs.
“The engagement provides a platform where the governor discusses important political issues impacting the party and the state.
“In the coming weeks, Governor Lawal will host PDP stakeholders from all 14 local government areas of Zamfara state.
“During the meetings, Governor Lawal will listen to stakeholders’ concerns, advice, and critical evaluation of the situation in their respective communities. Such stakeholder engagement demonstrates that the Peoples Democratic Party remains a strong and influential force across the state,” said the statement.
