2023 Hajj: Last batch of Kwara pilgrims return
All the 3,550 Muslim pilgrims from Kwara who performed the 2023 Hajj in Saudi Arabia have returned.
The last batch of pilgrims arrived at the Ilorin International Airport at 9.00 a.m. on Saturday.
An Air Peace aircraft that transported the 272 pilgrims departed Jeddah International Airport in Saudi Arabia at 2.30 a.m. on Saturday.
The pilgrims were received by their relations and well-wishers at the airport.
The executive secretary of Kwara state Muslim pilgrims welfare board, AbdulSalam AbdulKadir, said: “A total of 272 Kwara pilgrims were on board the Air Peace Aircraft from Jeddah Airport.
“With this last return flight, the 3,550 pilgrims that performed this year’s Hajj through the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board have all arrived in Ilorin.”
