2027 Election: Tinubu will get more votes in Kebbi, Gov Idris promises

Governor Nasir Idris has assured President Bola Tinubu of unshakable support from the people of Kebbi in 2027.
He made this statement at a ceremony organised to celebrate the second anniversary of his government, held at the Haliru Abdu Stadium in Birnin Kebbi.
The governor stated that before the Tinubu-led administration, Kebbi had enjoyed little to no federal government projects.
“With the emergence of the Tinubu administration, Kebbi enjoys a series of developmental projects,” said Mr Idris.
These projects, according to him, include roads, schools, empowerment initiatives, and appointments, among others.
He listed some of the road projects, including the Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway, the Dabai-Mahuta-Koko road, the Malando-Warah-Ngaski road, the Kamba-Feka road, and the Zema-Zuru road, among others.
“Therefore, we, the people of Kebbi, have no reason not to support the second term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027,” he noted.
Idris thanked the organisers for bringing Kebbi prominent personalities together, including all the ex-state governors.
“You hardly can see a state in this country where four former and serving governors come under one roof. This glaringly shows that Kebbi is an APC state,” he said.
The governor promised that the votes Mr Tinubu received in the 2023 general election would be tripled by 2027.
He commended the people of Kebbi for their support and cooperation.
Speaking on behalf of the two ministers from Kebbi, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Atiku Bagudu said they were proud to be associated with the achievements of Messrs Idris and Tinubu.
He said that following the tireless efforts of the governor of Kebbi, with the support of the president, they had secured more federal projects, promising that as members of the federal executive council, they would continue to pursue more.
Mr Bagudu applauded the governor for bringing development to Kebbi while urging the residents to support Messrs Tinubu and Idris’ second-term bid.
