2027: NDC announces nomination fees ahead of nationwide congresses

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), on Wednesday, announced the cost of nomination forms for its forthcoming nationwide party congresses.
In a statement issued by the party on its verified X (formerly Twitter) page, the party said that the congresses would be held nationwide, covering positions from ward to national levels.
The party’s statement reads, “The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) hereby announces the official cost of nomination forms for its upcoming Party Congresses at all levels, from Ward to National”.
“Notably, forms for Polling Unit and Community Working Committees are available completely free of charge, reaffirming the party’s commitment to inclusive grassroots participation”, the party added.
According to the statement, the nomination form fees range from N20,000 at the ward level to N1,000,000 for National Working Committee positions.
The party further stated that all nomination forms are available for purchase and collection at the NDC National Headquarters, urging payments to be made directly to the party’s designated bank account.
