31 underage girls caught in ‘compromising’ positions with 47 men: Hisbah
The Kano State Hisbah Board says it has arrested 78 young men and underage girls at the White House Restaurant in Nasarawa GRA for being in compromising positions.
Hisbah commander-general Harun Ibn-Sina disclosed that the 47 young men and 31 under-aged girls were nabbed for engaging in illicit acts, following a tip-off by a good Samaritan.
“The young men and women were found in compromising positions using drugs, while preparations (by them) were in top gear for the commencement of a birthday party,” Mr Ibn-Sina said in a statement on Wednesday.
He described Nigerian youths as the leaders of tomorrow and urged their parents and guardians to be more vigilant due to the high level of moral decadence in society.
The Hisbah boss also said the board had commenced an investigation into the incident and would invite parents and guardians of those arrested for necessary action.
The statement also stated that Hisbah had reaffirmed its dedication to sanitising Kano and ridding it of vices.
