41 ships laden with petroleum products, other items awaited at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 41 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive at Lagos ports from March 10 to March 16.
The NPA disclosed this in its daily “Shipping Position” publication made available on Tuesday in Lagos.
The authority said that the ships were expected at the Apapa, Tin-Can Island and Lekki Deep ports.
It added that 17 of the expected ships have containers of different goods, while 24 ships would berth with bulk urea, crude oil, petrol, fresh fish, bitumen, crude palm oil and bulk gypsum.
NPA also noted that eight ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports, waiting to berth with petrol, general cargo, bulk urea, bulk fertiliser and containers.
It stated that 22 ships were presently discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, bulk urea, bulk salt, bulk sugar, fresh fish, bulk gypsum and containers with different goods at the three ports.
