An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Vanuatu Islands at 0859 GMT on Tuesday.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Vanuatu Islands at 0859 GMT on Tuesday.

The GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 97.0 km.

It was initially determined to be at 15.16 degrees south latitude and 167.16 degrees east longitude.
